Trollface Quest 5 is the fifth version of the famous flash game based on the internet meme "Troll Face". It started as an online flash game, but the fifth edition of the game is also available for iOS and Android users and is downloadable from Apple's App Store as well as the Google Play Store. It is a puzzle game classified as a point-and-click game. Trollface Quest 5 continues the rivalry between the main character, the Stickman, and the evil Troll Face. Like the previous editions, the main idea of the game is to look for the weirdest and most illogical solution possible to complete the levels.
The game has twenty different puzzles that need to be solved by the player to reveal the final comic. The Android and iOS editions of the game offer up to fifty levels. However, the comics showed that the beginning and the end of these levels are the same. These comics are linked to the ones shown at the start of the game. They serve as a conclusion to the game and its story. Like the previous editions, PPLLAAYY.com published the fifth version as well. The game is based on the FIFA World Cup 2014 and shows the protagonist Stickman and Troll Face in different scenarios related to football and the World Cup.
Trollface Quest 5 Gameplay and Levels
Like the previous versions of the game, Trollface Quest 5 has a similar menu and user options. It makes use of sound effects and background music. It also counts the number of clicks or taps from the beginning of the game, and there's a pause button as well. Apart from that, sound on/off toggle, autosave features and option to select any unlocked level is also available like in the previous versions.
The graphics are similar to the previous edition of the game and the characters are the same as well. The levels of the game are unrelated to each other and require unique solutions that take several tries sometimes. The levels mostly require the player to act like a troll instead of performing a normal task. For example, during one of the levels of the game, the Stickman is shown in a football field with a football and goal. Now the common sense here is to try and kick the ball into the goal, but as most Trollface Quest players know, the solutions of these puzzles are never really this simple. So the player can only complete the level by tapping or clicking the moon twice, after which it falls to the ground and then the player can kick it to complete the level.
Most levels require solutions such as these and it's common practice for people who are familiar with the game. The game makes no sense whatsoever and there is no logic or rule behind it unlike other puzzle and strategy games, which is one of the features that make this game so successful.
