The first episode of the game was very successful and thus, Trollface Quest 2 was also launched as a flash browser game with the same basic principle that there is no rule or logic and to win, you have to get trolled. Just like its predecessor, this game is also classified as a point-and-click, strategy and puzzle game, filled with challenging levels with unique and out-of-the-box solutions. If you get through all the levels without once playing it twice, you're probably lying. The second episode of Trollface Quest was published by PPLLAYY.com and is available on several other flash game websites.
Similar to its first edition, Trollface Quest 2 has tricky levels. For example, in level 15, the stickman (who is the main character of the game) is shivering in front of a log cabin and it is obvious that he needs the player's help to get warm. Now the obvious solution is to make him go inside the cabin, but the cabin doesn't open if you click on it. The solution to this level is that the player is required to click on the thermometer. Clicking on the thermometer raises the temperature and makes the snow go away.
However, you have to be quick because if you wait for long, the temperature will get too high and a wildfire will break out. Timing is of the utmost importance here as you need to make sure the temperature reaches the red line and then clicking on the door opens it and lets the stickman enter. Achieving this is not possible in one try and requires a lot of thinking and retries before the player can complete this level.
Another example of the tricky levels is level 19, when the stickman is drinking with Troll Face, the supposed nemesis of the game's main character. Clicking on the mugs causes the character to begin drinking, but the third sip kills you, so instead of drinking for a third time, you have to pick up the bottle by clicking on the picture of the chicken. This makes Troll Face drink the poisoned wine and wins you the level. The levels get more difficult and trickier as you progress through the game, so try not to get trolled.
Improvement in Gameplay
Graphics of the second episode are very similar to the first one and the characters are the same with stickman and Troll Face being the protagonist and antagonist respectively. All the levels look like hand-drawn sketches, but the overall quality is better with a lot more color than the previous version. Minimal options are available to the user with the toggle music on/off option still available from the first version. An added option to clear the progress on the levels is also available. Just like its previous version, this game is strictly a point-and-click game and requires only a mouse to play. This game offers an added feature of automatic game save and much crazier and trickier levels to keep you addicted.
